Kevin B. Rack has over thirty years of experience in advanced estate planning and in the administration of trusts and probate estates. Recognized by U.S. News and World Report as among the “Best Lawyers in America” in the practice areas of Trusts & Estates and Trust & Estate Litigation since 2009, he serves as legal and tax counsel to clients in developing and implementing complex wealth preservation and asset protection strategies, as well as serving clients requiring more essential estate planning.

Mr. Rack is also an experienced practitioner of elder law, representing seniors, or their family members and fiduciaries, in legal matters affecting the elderly. These matters involve Medicaid eligibility planning for long term care costs, special needs trusts, pre-marital and marital agreements for later marriages, and petitions for appointment of family members as conservator. He is the author of “The Elder Law Practice,” which is Chapter One of Elder Law in Virginia, Third Edition (2017), published by the Virginia CLE Foundation.

Before entering private practice, Mr. Rack served in the U.S. Navy Judge Advocate General’s Corps as staff counsel to Commander, Naval Surface Forces Atlantic and as Trial Counsel assigned to Naval Legal Service Office, Naval Base, Norfolk.
